How PII is masked

W-2 and W-9 output automatically masks Social Security numbers, employer EINs and tax IDs — only the last few digits are shown.

For other documents, use Redact PDF to permanently black-bar sensitive phrases (the underlying text is removed, not just covered), and Strip Metadata to wipe hidden EXIF/GPS data before sharing files.
