Photograph the page flat, in good light, with no shadows across the text.
Keep the whole page in frame — cropped lines get guessed.
Neat, evenly-spaced writing transcribes best; cramped margins and heavy slant are harder.
Review the result: names and unusual words are the most likely misreads — fix them in the editor before downloading.
